WORD OF THE WEEK WEEK 1 *POSITIVE*

1st Word of the Week 

"POSITIVE"

President Jackman told the Elder's of a time when he was Mission President in Lima Peru and President Eyring came to visit;

 "President Jackman was driving with President Eyring by his side, and every time President Eyring noticed something he enjoyed he would reach over and touch his[President Jackman's] arm and say,   'President, How beautiful' or 'How amazing' everyone of his comments were positive, so that was Elder Gust's focus today. "I've been recognizing the Savior a lot in our lives..." Elder Gust's suggests that if you have a negative thought or if you feel discouraged or if you just need a boost,  try to focus on our Savior.  "It is amazing how it can help you and quickly turn a negative experience into a positive one... how important it is to remember the Savior in our lives."

This is the owner of a restaurant/bakery called RIVA's. Juan let's the missionaries come in and eat! Elder Gust says he loves the 'chile colorado burritos with frijoles! (beans) woooow they may by my favorite!' He said he also likes the doughnuts there too :)Thank you Juan for taking such great care of the Elders!!

Don't Be Afraid To Share Your Testimony

B.O.M Book of Mormon

This week we learned a lot about the book of mormon and its importance, it litterally is the cornerstone of the church, it holds everyting together. If it's true then Jsmith is a prophet and Jesus Is our Christ....Don't be afraid to bear your testimony to other people or be afraid to invite them to learn more about the church."

...... The MTC is SOO AWESOME!!!.....

.....My roomates are awesome. Elder Ione said something like our room is going to be rocking... spiritually that is-and it definitely has.

Sundays are really good here, we had an awesome fireside by Stephen B Allen. He is the executive producer of all the mormon ads that you have seen on T.V your whole life. He was awesome.

When everything says you can't, Believe in the part that says you can!!

That was one of his quotes, we put that on our door and hit it everytime we go out :) haha

...the spirit is so strong here!!
