New Compañero ~Elder Peña~ April 2011

"... I received my new compañero this week, Elder Peña.  ... I have really enjoyed this past week with him.  He his pretty new in the mission he has 3 months, he is from San Lous Poto Si, but he was born in Totoluca...  He is a great worker, optimistic and is fun to work with..."

We are being guided well right now in the work, we are going to baptize 7 people this week!  It is awesome to be able to be an instrument in bringing the gospel to these people.  We are teaching someone right now that is so ready and humbled to receive the gospel that when we invited him to be baptized and he said I would love to be baptized! ...  Pretty exciting things are happening right now, I have faith and hope that as we continue to be diligent in the work the Lord will guide us to those who are ready to be baptized." 

 This is Clarita Rojas -  "..she was baptized after 17 years of putting off her baptism!  She has always known the church was true but never wanted to take the step... she bore her testimony in sacremente meeting,...she said through tears that she was happy that she finally made the decisions to be in the only true church, and she knew that it is the only true church..."
